Employee Sharing Program

When the Employee Sharing Program kicks off February 1, 2013, Employees will have the opportunity to contribute to funds to enhance the experience of employees, patients and families at Bellin Health.

Employees can designate how they would like their individual gift to be used.  Choices for contributions will include the Patient Assistance Fund, which is for all patients system wide for healthcare related expenses, such as medications, medical equipment, transportation, etc.  The Robert Fry Employee Assistance Program is for all employees system wide who are in need of financial assistance to assist with extraordinary hardships such as food, gas, homelessness, expenses, etc. The Michael Wilde Nursing Scholarship supports one nursing student at Bellin College or NWTC and one student at Monroe High School who plan to pursue nursing after high school. The George Bennett Nursing Scholarship supports nursing education for staff nurses at Bellin or nursing students at Bellin College. And lastly, employees have the option to contribute to The Health System’s Most Pressing Need which supports professional development, employee engagement programs, patient support and safety initiatives, and community care, etc.

This year, employees may choose two giving options, rather than the previous one option. The two options, if employees choose to do so, will be split equally.

This is the annual Employee Sharing Program's eighth campaign.  Since 2006, the program has raised $620,817.

Campaign materials will be distributed to all employees February 1, 2013.  Giving forms may also be accessed on Julius, if you click Bellin Town Square, More, Bellin Health Foundation, and then click on Employee Sharing Program. The form is also available on the Bellin Health website under “Donors & Friends”.
