Bachelor’s Degree Program Radiologic Sciences

The School of Radiologic Technology and Bellin College of Nursing have received official notification from the Higher Learning Commission, a commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, that it is accredited to begin offering a  baccalaureate degree in radiologic sciences (BSRS).

The curriculum will provide general education coursework as well as academic and clinical experiences in medical radiography (x-ray). Additionally, the final year will provide both academic and clinical skills and knowledge in specialty imaging areas such as CT scanning, MRI scanning and Womens’ Imaging to include mammography and bone density detection. A leadership and management track is incorporated into the final year as well.

The School of Radiologic Sciences will be a part of Bellin College and reside on the new, multi-million dollar College campus in east Green Bay. Clinical experiences will include both Bellin Health and St. Vincent’s hospitals.
Both Schools (Nursing and Radiologic Sciences) are fully accredited and boast a long heritage of nursing and radiography education.

Applications for the BSRS degree are being taken with accepted candidates beginning coursework in the Fall,  2009. Applicants must possess a minimum GPA of 3.0 and an ACT score of 20.

This unique BSRS curriculum offers students extensive radiography experiences including clinical as well as coursework and clinical in specialty medical imaging areas.
