Service Standards Commitment

All employees of Bellin Health System have a role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible care and service. Service excellence does not just pertain to direct caregivers but involves everyone who works within our organization. We have developed Service Standards to guide us in achieving and sustaining service excellence by identifying the specific attitudes and actions that are essential to providing quality service. They provide the framework of expected behaviors that every employee will exhibit when dealing with customers.

Our Service Standards include:

  • Patient/Family Centered Care – We commit to understand, meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our patients.
  • Safety/Environment – We recognize it is our responsibility to provide a safe, nurturing and healing environment for our customers.
  • Privacy/Confidentiality – We understand the importance of our customers’ privacy and the need to keep medical records confidential.
  • Communication – We believe that honest, direct, shared communication and active listening are essential to better understand our customers’ needs and to provide excellent care.
  • Accountability/Team – I believe that my work is a reflection of myself. 

I acknowledge I have read and understand the importance of Bellin Health’s Service Standards. In addition, I accept, if hired by Bellin Health System, the expectation to portray these standards in interactions with coworkers, patients, families, visitors and physicians.
