What is the hospital?

Built in 2005, the Oconto Hospital & Medical Center is a partnership between a group of local citizens, the Oconto Hospital Citizens' Foundation and Bellin Health.  Oconto Hospital & Medical Center provides access to vital health care services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Services

The hospital is an 11,000 square-foot facility.  Services include:

  • 24/7 Emergency Department and Observation Care
  • Urgent Care Services
    • Monday through Friday    6:00pm - 10:00pm
    • Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays    9:00am - 10:00pm
  • Inpatient and Swing Bed
  • 32-slice CT
  • X-ray
  • Ultrasound
  • Laboratory
  • Sleep Studies
  • Physical Therapy
  • IV Infusion
  • Respite Care

Services are open to any individual and healthcare provider regardless of affiliation.  The hospital is a participant in most major healthcare plans and Medicare and Medicaid.  It is always best to check with your insurance carrier to ensure coverage.

Location

The Oconto Hospital & Medical Center is located at 820 Arbutus Ave. in Oconto, Wisconsin. The hospital is accessible from both Arbutus Avenue to the west and Park Avenue to the east.  The hospital is on the same campus as the Bond Community Center, a family health, fitness and community center.  The entire campus is smoke free.
