About Oconto Hospital & Medical Center

What is the hospital?

Built in 2005, the Oconto Hospital & Medical Center is a joint partnership between a group of local citizens, the Oconto Hospital Citizens' Foundation and Bellin Health.  After nearly 100 years of providing hospital services in the area, the original hospital was shut down in 2002.  This very determined group of citizens sought a healthcare partner to continue to offer local hospital services to meet the needs of the area population.  The current partnership was formed in 2001.  All revenue stays in the community and is reinvested back into the hospital to improve services.
