Philosophy of care: I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from UW-Platteville in 1988. I received my MSC (Master of Science in Counseling) from UWGB in 1996. I have worked at Bellin Psychiatric Center since 1991. I worked on the children's inpatient unit. After 2 years, I helped start the Children's Day Treatment program and ran that program for 3 years. In 1996, after receiving my Master's degree, I moved my practice to Oconto. In Oconto, I facilitated the Adult AODA Intensive Outpatient Program and the Adolescent Day Treatment Program. I also ran parent child groups and did In-Home Therapy, along with outpatient individual and family therapy. Now my passion is working with children and adolescents with behavioral, anger management, and AODA issues. I also focus on individuals, couples and families.
I am a certified 3000 hours outpatient therapist in Wisconsin. I am also registered as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor with the state of Wisconsin.
