Program Overview

Receive relief from common peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms - hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, vaginal dryness, irritability, PMS, mood swings, weight gain, headaches, loss of interest or satisfaction in sex, wrinkles, forgetfulness, fatigue, anxiety, depression and feeling overwhelmed.

Decide together if hormone balance baseline saliva testing and ongoing monitoring methods are appropriate for you.

Decide together what is safe and appropriate for you to take to manage your symptoms. Herbal or nutritional supplements may be helpful. One or more of the female hormones may also be helpful. Randi will help you decide what is best for you. She specializes in prescribing compounded, bioidentical hormones (hormones that are identical to the ones that the human body produces) which allow for customized, low dose treatment of symptoms and a choice of delivery methods, ie. creams, patches, gels, oral capsules, tablets and suppositories. You may be offered careful individualized treatment at the lowest effective hormone doses to maintain optimal health without undesirable side effects using the delivery system that meets your needs.

Benefits of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) go beyond symptom control and assist in prevention of osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s and certain types of cancers.

DEXA Bone Scan (an x-ray-like scan that measures your bone mass at a fixed point in time) may be ordered for you. Knowing how much bone you may have lost in the past is important. A bone loss assessment through an NTx Urine Analysis may also be ordered to assess your rate of bone resorption (how fast your bones are breaking down) today. Both results aid in properly managing your health.

If desired, you may discuss ways to improve your sexual health and enjoyment. A full complement of sexual products will be available in the near future.

Services are provided in partnership with the care you receive from your primary care provider. No referral is necessary.
