Make the Right Call 911

Make the right call 911

The decision to call 9-1-1 can be a life-saving one. To promote the appropriate use of 9-1-1, Bellin Health is highlighting the stories of emergency medical services (EMS) professionals who respond to those in need.

Many emergency medical situations are a race against the clock. Yet, all too often, individuals choose to wait for symptoms to subside, ask a friend or relative to drive them to an emergency department, or attempt to drive themselves to the hospital – all while precious time ticks away.

By dialing 9-1-1, you are connected with a trained network of professionals who can best assist you. The EMS professionals who respond provide timely, appropriate care – care that begins when they arrive on the scene and continues in the ambulance, with valuable information relayed to the hospital.

To encourage people to Make the Right Call, we are asking the public to share their EMS stories.  Please share your story of how local EMS professionals made an impact on your life or the life of a loved one. From the stories submitted, several will be selected to be spotlighted in a display in the Lambeau Field Atrium and those EMS personnel spotlighted in the stories will be recognized at a Green Bay Packers game this fall.

To submit your story, click the Submit My Story Online link below or find more information at any Bellin Health facility or the Lambeau Field Atrium Guest Relations desk.

Deadline for Submissions is August 1, 2010
