Be aware of Bellin Run road closures

GREEN BAY — Traffic and parking in the area immediately surrounding the 33rd annual Bellin Run may pose a bit of a challenge for participants and neighborhood visitors. That’s why Bellin Run organizers have compiled a cheat sheet of road closures and parking information.

“This is a huge community event for neighbors, participants and the community at large,” said Bellin Run race director Randy Van Straten. “We recognize that parking and traffic in general in the area will be affected by this event, so we’re doing our best to minimize any inconveniences. The Bellin Run is a great, all-inclusive annual event, but it also strives to be a good neighbor as well.”

Parking information
Participants and spectators are encouraged to park in the residential neighborhoods. Parking is available west of Webster Avenue near Bellin Hospital. Those parking east of Webster Avenue should find street parking spot north of Astor Park (Porlier Street) and east of Clay Street. Those wanting to minimize their walking before and after the race should consider parking at the Bellin Run’s two free shuttle locations – Shopko at East Town Mall and Shopko at Bay Park Square Mall. Shuttle buses will pick up participants every 15 minutes from 6:30-7:15 a.m. on race day. Return times are 9 a.m. to noon.
