IRON MOUNTAIN — Dr. Kevin Greer, a board certified cardiothoracic surgeon with Green Bay Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery, will be seeing patients in Iron Mountain at Bellin Health U.P. Primary Care.
Greer specializes in heart valve surgery, including repair. He is an expert in lung cancer treatment, cardiac assist devices and is experienced in aortic surgery, including aneurysm repair. He’s also a pioneer in robotic-assisted thoracic surgery. His Iron Mountain clinic will be used for outpatient evaluations of patients with thoracic and cardiovascular problems. This includes problems associated with the heart, lungs and esophagus.
“My goal is to provide every person with the highest level of health care possible,” he said. “This involves dedication to patients as individuals, enabling us to deliver quality without forgetting each person’s uniqueness.”
Greer attended Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, Ill. His general surgery residency and cardiothoracic surgery research fellow were at Wayne State University, Detroit, Mich. He performed his cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Louisville, Louisville, Ky.
As of November 14, Greer will begin treating patients at 1711 S. Stephenson Ave., Suite 205, Iron Mountain.
