GREEN BAY — The Bellin Health School of Radiologic Technology held its 48th annual graduation ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 7, at Legend’s Supper Club in De Pere.
This year the school presented diplomas to five graduates, including: Chelsea Rankin, Sturgeon Bay; Andra Sartorelli, Green Bay; Grethe Swenson, Suring; Heather Tease, Green Bay; and Ashley Zeckmeister, Antigo.
Tease earned the Mallinkrodt Award for Excellence. It is awarded for the highest academic and clinical achievement. Tease also earned the Bracco Diagnostics Award for Leadership and Professionalism.
Sartorelli earned the GE Healthcare Award for Clinical Excellence.
Tease, Sartorelli and Swenson will be employed in the Green Bay area as radiologic technologists. Zeckmeister plans to work outside of the area and Rankin will attend the University of Wisconsin School of Ultrasonography in Madison.
The School of Radiologic Technology is fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology and recently received preliminary approval to offer a bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences through the Bellin College of Nursing.
