Bellin Health offers event for parents-to-be
GREEN BAY — Bellin Health will host a BabyU event for expecting parents and guests on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Bellin Hospital, 744 S. Webster Ave.
“This event is specifically designed to help expecting parents get better informed as to what to expect as parents-in-waiting,” said Donna Zelazoski, operational team leader, Bellin Health Kress Birthing Center. “There is definitely going to be something to learn for any expecting parent.”
The event will be held in the hospital’s Kresge Center and is scheduled to take place from 6-8:30 p.m. A presentation on car seat safety will be featured along with sessions on prenatal and postnatal care, preparing for fatherhood and a new parent question and answer session with doctors who specialize in caring for babies.
BabyU also will feature a drawing for a designer Chicco care seat, prizes for dads, a tour of the Kress Birthing Center, educational displays, baby product vendors, physician providers of infant care and a breastfeeding education team.
