GREEN BAY — In observance of Mental Health Awareness Week, Bellin Health will offer free depression screenings Thursday, Oct. 8, at four area locations, including Bellin Psychiatric Center.
Mental Illness Awareness Week draws attention to mood and anxiety disorders on a national level. The event helps educate the public about depression symptoms and treatments, offers individuals the opportunity to be screened for depression, and connects those in need of treatment to the mental health care system.
Bellin’s free and confidential 30-minute depression screenings will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Bellin Psychiatric Center, 301 E. St. Joseph St., Green Bay. Participants will meet with a licensed therapist. Other times and locations include:
· 1-3 p.m. at Bond Community Center, 1201 Park Ave., Oconto
· 1-3 p.m. at Bellin Health Family Medical & Wellness Center, 3263 Eaton Road, Bellevue
· 1-3 p.m. Bellin Health Family Medical Center-De Pere West, 1800 Lawrence Drive, De Pere
