OCONTO — Residents in the Oconto and surrounding areas that are bothered by persistent achy knees, sore backs and necks and stiff fingers, among other irritating joint pains, are encouraged to visit the Bond Community Center for a free pain and injury assessment.
The free assessments are offered every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, assessments are offered from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. On Wednesdays, the assessments are offered from 3-7 p.m. They are performed at the Bond Community Center, 1201 Park Ave., Oconto.
Pain assessments offer a better understanding of the best method for providing a client relief from the pain. Bellin Health licensed athletic trainer Monica Wagner performs the assessments and will offer recommendations for treatment.
Wagner, a University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point graduate, specializes in injury and pain evaluation, rehabilitation and injury prevention among other areas of expertise.
