Packers practice jerseys feature Bellin Health patch

Patch is a first for the team

GREEN BAY - Beginning with the first practice at 2 p.m. Saturday, members of the Green Bay Packers will wear an advertising patch on their practice jerseys.

That is a first for the Green Bay-area franchise.

The advertising partner is Bellin Health, a major health provider in northeast Wisconsin.

Bellin and the Packers have been partners for several years. The introduction of the patch on the jersey – allowed under National Football League rules – is a small part of a larger relationship between the franchise and Bellin. The patch is part of a multi-year agreement with the health system.

The patches will not be worn in preseason games or the regular season.
