DE PERE – Bellin Health recently expanded services at its Family Medical Center in east De Pere to include physical therapy.

The expanded services help fill an identified need in the area, explained Rachelle Schroeder, team facilitator, Bellin Health Rural Clinic Therapy.

“We are offering physical therapy at De Pere East for its location and to provide physical therapy for the pediatric population that is referred from the pediatric providers at De Pere East and other locations,” she said.

Service hours for physical therapy at Bellin Health Family Medical Center-De Pere East, 555 Red Bird Circle, are as follows:

• Monday: 8-11:30 a.m.
• Wednesday: 1:30-5 p.m.
• Friday: 1:30-5 p.m.

Kristy Carter, a licensed athletic trainer, is the physical therapist assigned to FMC-De Pere East. Carter specializes in pediatrics, sports medicine and orthopedics.

Bellin also staffs an athletic trainer, Chad Carter, at De Pere East High School. Carter has been directing athletes to the new De Pere East physical therapy location.

“This provides optimal access for those athletes as well,” Schroeder said.

Bellin offers physical therapy services at a number of its other clinics including its Ashwaubenon, Bellevue, Brillion, Denmark, Howard, Kewaunee, Luxemburg, Oconto, Seymour and Wrightstown clinics.
