Millermaier named Bellin Health’s chief medical officer

GREEN BAY – Dr. Edward Millermaier, former chief medical and operating officer at Borgess Health in Kalamazoo, Mich., is Bellin Health’s new chief medical officer.

As Bellin’s chief medical officer, part of Millermaier’s responsibility will be to help design clinical care management structures that best maximize the value of care received by Bellin patients. He also will contribute to Bellin’s patient safety and quality improvement efforts.

Millermaier will officially begin his role at Bellin on Monday, Jan. 17.

Millermaier, who has worked at health care facilities across Michigan, Indiana and Wisconsin, earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He earned a master’s degree in Business Administration (through a physician executive MBA program) at the University of Tennessee.
