GREEN BAY — The Bellin Foundation’s annual Black Tie & Blue Jean Extravaganza is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 10.
The one-of-a-kind fundraising event – in which participants mix and match formal and casual dress to create their attire for the evening – will be held from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, 2420 Nicolet Drive, Green Bay.
Tickets to the public event are $80 per person. Tables of eight are available for $1,100.
The event will feature hors d’oeuvres, entrees and desserts by Hinterland, sketches by caricaturists, light jazz entertainment and wine tasting, among other attractions.
During the evening’s events, a Healthcare in Action Community Service award will be presented to the Wisconsin chapter of myTeam Triumph, an athletic ride-along program created for people with disabilities who would normally not be able to experience endurance events such as road races or triathlons.
The Black Tie & Blue Jean Extravaganza raises funds through event sponsorships, ticket sales, donations and silent and oral auctions. This year’s event will benefit Bellin’s Expressive Arts in Medicine (BEAM) program. BEAM strives to transform the health care experience for Bellin patients by connecting them with the healing power of the arts.
