The Bellin Foundation’s annual Black Tie & Blue Jean Extravaganza is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 8.
The one-of-a-kind fundraising event – in which participants mix and match formal and casual dress to create their attire for the evening – will be held from 6-10 p.m. at The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, 2420 Nicolet Drive, Green Bay.
Tickets to the public event are $80 per person. Tables of eight are available for $1,200.
The Hollywood-themed event will feature hors d’oeuvres, wine and cheese tasting and red carpet complementary photos, among other attractions.
During the evening’s events, the Healthcare in Action Community Service Award will be presented to Jamie Tramte Brassfield on behalf of the Active Early Initiative program overseen locally by Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W.
The Black Tie & Blue Jean Extravaganza raises funds through event sponsorships, ticket sales, donations and silent and oral auctions. This year’s event will benefit the Bellin Health Patient Assistance Fund. The fund helps ease patient’s health care related expenses – medication, medical equipment, transportation to medical appointments, and more. It is a short-term solution for patients that have exhausted all other resources.
