GREEN BAY — Dr. Thomas Cain, a cardiac and thoracic surgeon and long-time Bellin Health partner, recently announced the formation of his new private practice.
Cain will practice at the newly-formed Cardiothoracic Surgery Associates, 720 S. Van Buren St., Suite 202, Green Bay.
The long-time area surgeon says current and new patients can expect top-quality service at his new practice.
“I’ll be performing the same services for my patients in my new practice as I have with my former practice,” Cain said. “Our patients can remain confident in their expectations of safe, high-quality care and surgical services from Cardiothoracic Surgery Associates.”
Cain arrived in Green Bay in 1984 and played a key role in the evolution of the nationally-acclaimed heart surgery program at Bellin Health.
His areas of special interest include reoperative cardiac surgery; cardiac valve repair; and complex valve replacement. He has extensive experience in the treatment of aortic dissection and thoracic aortic aneurysms as well as correction of chest wall deformities in children and adolescents.
Cain attended the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his general surgery residency and cardiothoracic residency at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
