DE PERE – Bellin Health will offer the public free heart health screenings on Monday, June 25 at its east De Pere clinic.
The free heart health screenings will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at 555 Redbird Circle, Suite 300, De Pere.
The screenings include total cholesterol and glucose tests, a blood pressure check and body mass index tests. Results will be available about 10 minutes after the assessments.
Dr. Ronelle Moe will conduct the screenings.
Appointments are required. Participants are encouraged to fast for 10-12 hours before their appointment for more accurate results.
Morning medication and water are allowed.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, each year in the United States about 715,000 Americans have a heart attack. An estimated 600,000 people annually die from heart disease – 1 out of every 4 deaths. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women.
