OCONTO – Green Bay Packers linebacker Brad Jones will visit with patients during a flu clinic on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at Bellin Health’s Oconto location.
The flu clinic will take place from 4-7 p.m. at the Bond Community Center, 1201 Park Ave., Oconto. The community center is on the Bellin Health Oconto Hospital and Clinic campus.
The flu clinic is supported by Titletown Wellness, a community health partnership between Bellin and the Packers.
The vaccination event is open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome, however, appointments are strongly encouraged.
Flu vaccinations cost $25.
According to Bellin Health, 5 to 20 percent of the country’s population gets the flu each year, which amounts to millions of cases. While the flu only lasts one to two days for most people, it can lead to more dangerous complications for some.
