GREEN BAY — Bellin Health is inviting area employers to instill a health and wellness focus in their organizational culture through a new program being offered to local businesses.
The Green Bay-based health system will host a free, year-long Corporate Health Challenge program beginning January 1, 2014.
The peer-based Corporate Health Challenge is a wellness program designed to encourage individuals to take more control in improving their personal health. The program also is designed to foster a culture of health within the workplace.
The customizable program can be used by groups with a delegated team champion or within one-on-one settings utilizing a peer partner or health coach.
“Teams may compete against each other within an organization or as part of Bellin Health’s Corporate Health Challenge competition with participation awards in the small, medium and large company categories,” said Karla Buckley, Bellin Health Business Health Solutions. “The challenge program also can be used as a Reasonable Alternative Standard option to comply with the Affordable Care Act wellness rules.”
