Emergency Services
Bellin’s Emergency Department is a Level III facility and is staffed by experienced emergency medicine physicians and personnel trained in triage and care. It features 16 patient rooms and state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment. All patients will be coded as “emergency” for billing purposes.
Features of the 32,448 square-foot Emergency Services Pavilion include:
- Expanded KidCare Emergency Services, staffed by pediatricians
- 6-bed observation unit with private rooms
- Diagnostic suite that includes Wisconsin’s only 320-slice CT scanner, the Aquilion One
- 64-slice CT services including Cardiac Calcium Scoring
- Enlarged ambulance bays offering easier access for emergency vehicles
- Family lounge and counseling area
- Centralized nurse’s station
- Emergency medical services personnel lounge
Other Services:
- Immediate nurse triage upon arrival
- A designated Chest Pain Center, supported by complete cardiac services including diagnostic and surgery
- Stroke-Certified Center, supported by diagnostic testing and intervention
- All registered nurses are PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified
- Serviced by all area ambulances (ask to be taken to Bellin) and Eagle III (www.eagle3.org) helicopter
- Entrance off Van Buren Street and Bellin Health Hospital Center, 744 S. Webster Avenue, Green Bay
