Rural Clinics

Bellin Health provides Physical Therapy services at 8 rural clinic sites throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Therapy began at these sites in 2002, with a goal of providing high quality physical therapy services to individuals who otherwise would have had to drive significant distances to obtain these services. Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and Occupational Therapists, from Bellin Health’s Sports Medicine Program, staff these clinics. These sites see individuals with varying diagnoses. A few of the more common injuries include: sports injuries, work injuries, tendonitis, bursitis, sprains, strains, post-op rehabilitation and chronic pain conditions. The therapists will work with doctor to make your rehabilitation go as quickly and as safe as possible so you can return to the activities you enjoy the most.

Physical And Occupational Therapy Are Provided At The Following Rural Clinics:

Occupational Therapy is also provided at our Kewaunee Family Medical Center. This clinic is also staffed by Occupational Therapists from Bellin Health’s Sports Medicine Program. Occupational Therapy treats a wide variety of upper extremity injuries including carpal tunnel syndrome, lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), repetitive work injuries, and sports injuries to list a few.

Whether you are being seen in Physical or Occupational Therapy, you will have a comprehensive evaluation done including testing your strength, range of motion, functional limitations, and joint mobility. Various special tests will be performed to find the exact cause of your injury and/or illness and a personal treatment plan will be established with your personal goals in mind.
