Course Description: This day-and-a-half course is focused on the athlete that may or may not have completed rehabilitation and is transitioning back to sport as well as training for sport in the weight room.  Evidence-based screening and functional testing procedures will be reviewed in order to determine athlete readiness for performance training.  An in-depth analysis of the physical qualities of performance as well as how to best train these qualities will be discussed as well as program design considerations for the athlete.  The course will also include some hands-on demonstration in the weight room to help facilitate a better understanding of complex lifts and progressing, regressing, and lateralizing exercises.
