Location: Green Bay, Wi
Schedule: On Call Only (four days a month, every 10th weekend)
Responsible for care delivered under the direct supervision of the Provider/Registered Nurse. Records patient care given and reports to appropriate person with changes in patient’s condition; consults with RN/Provider when uncertain about care delivery; provides basic health instructions and reinforces teaching by other health team members. Will carry a pager on 24 hour rotation throughout the week to perform drug/alcohol collections for onsite services and the emergency room.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred prior to 12/1/06, post 12/1/06 required (as a result of clinic/business acquisition(s), this requirement may be waived for existing staff in Bellin Medical Group primary care and specialty care clinics); OR graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program but has not been successful in passing boards (must obtain LPN license within three months). Will also consider a Certified Nursing Assistant (must be listed on the WI Nursing Assistant Registry) and Phlebotomist.
One year customer service experience and drug/alcohol certification preferred. Phlebotomy experience preferred.
