Demonstrates expertise in the role of practitioner, consultant, educator, and health professional. Shares with their supervising physician and staff the responsibilities of providing and maintaining a quality, customer-focused, medically appropriate approach to patient assessment, care plan development, follow-up to outcomes, and cost-effective delivery of services.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required, WI RN license and Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) certification required; or WI Physician Assistant license required.
Being a team player, basic computer/keyboarding skills, excellent verbal/written communication skills, working in a collaborative environment and being clinically independent are required. Must be organized and be able to multi-task. Applicant must also demonstrate accountability, flexibility, integrity, and good customer service.
Applicant must be sensitive to patient needs.
Three years experience as a provider and bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Hmong) preferred.
Duties: Perform patient exams, Order and interpret DX tests, prescribe medications, work with all ages, follow evidence based medicine, follow up with PCP and patients on care. Must also complete administrative tasks as assigned.
