Department: Adult Psychiatric Unit
Location: Bellin Psychiatric Center
Schedule: FT (.8)/64 - Day/PM, every other weekend
Primarily responsible for providing psychoeducational classes on acute care inpatient units. A clinically competent professional who assists in delivering care through a planned process of observation, planning, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health care team members while maintaining the standards of their discipline. Job duties are performed under the supervision of a licensed RN. Bachelor’s degree Social Work, Psychology, Human Development or related degree required. Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI) and CPR must be successfully completed by the end of orientation. Minimum of one year of mental health experience preferred. Experience with teaching, public speaking and customer service preferred.
