2013 Black Tie & Blue Jean Extravaganza

2013 Black Tie and Blue Jean Extravaganza Results

Wow!  What an evening! Thank you for supporting The Bellin Health Foundation’s 8th annual Black Tie and Blue Jean Extravaganza!

We hope you had a chance to enjoy any or all of the following aspects of this year’s “Rat Pack Music & Martinis” theme: Complimentary photograph by Accent Photography by Kim which featured Bergstrom Automotive’s 1958 Cadillac, listen to “Rat Pack” era tunes from Daddy D Productions, sample the delicious wines by Beau Joubert Vineyard and gourmet cheeses by Belgioioso Cheese, savor Runaway Spoon’s Vegas-inspired cuisine and desserts, indulge in a martini from the ice luge, take in the feel of the “Copa Room” designed by Silhouettes Events and Twigs Floral, buy a chance to win the raffles and of course bid on the many wonderful silent and live auction items. What an action packed night!

The success of the event was attributed to the participation of over 375 guests, the sale of 51 silent auction baskets/experiences and 13 live auction items, the raffle of a Pandora Bracelet with matching earrings and ring from Rummeles and a soda/beer-a-mid from Triangle Distributing!  We had the generous support of many silent and live auction donors, 15 generous major sponsors as well as 35 corporate table sponsors, 2 raffle sponsors and 3 media sponsors. We also benefitted from generous discounts and outright donations by our supportive vendors.

The event raised nearly $109,000 for the Bellin Health Nursing Education Fund, which helps ease the cost of nurse education and technological changes required to maintain the competence to care for and achieve the best outcomes for their patients.

Many thanks to the entire planning committee and especially, this year’s Chairperson, Cindy Williquette, Silhouettes Events.
