Stroke survivors have the opportunity to ride recumbent bicycles that have been modified for individuals with neurological impairments. These specialized bicycles provide stroke survivors with an incredible degree of added mobility allowing them to experience the physical, emotional, and mental benefits of exercise. Bring your family and friends out to bike with us each month. You choose the distance you are comfortable with.
You will need to purchase a trail pass if you don’t already have one. ($5 per day or $25 yearly pass).
Distance: 1-, 5-, or 10-mile bike ride accompanied by volunteers.
Bikes: We have two recumbent bikes available for use. To reserve one of these bikes you must be fitted one week prior to the ride, first-come first-serve. These loaner recumbent bikes are provided through the generosity of The Bellin Health Foundation and The Bike Hub.
RSVP: Registration is due one week before each event. For questions or to register, please call Debra Sanchez at 920.433.7977 or e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
