The devastation of addiction doesn’t just affect the addicted. Substance use disorder also impacts families, and knowing how to navigate a loved one’s addiction is a serious, sometimes life-altering challenge. Fortunately, a little knowledge and the right kind of support can go a long way in helping loved ones cope.
During this informative special event, Bellin Health mental health therapists and substance abuse counselors Morgan Phillips and Alyssa Harris will offer help for family members impacted by substance use disorders. Attendees will leave with an increased understanding of addiction as a medical condition, stages of use, family roles, stages of recovery, healthy boundaries, healthy communication, and the concept of interdependence.
Registration is required for this event, so please sign up here or call (920) 445-7373 or (888) 758-7373. Attendees must be Bellin for Women members - free registration is available at www.BellinForWomen.com.
