Event Location:

Bellin Health Titletown, 1970 S. Ridge Rd., Green Bay

Event Description:

It is a widely appreciated and universal belief that every parent naturally wants what’s best for their children. This is true whether it’s in school, athletics, or any other walk of life. Parents typically will do whatever they can to benefit their children but sometimes the line between parental support and critique can blur, which can create more pressure for their children.

To explore this phenomenon further, Charles LaTorre, mental health counselor specializing in sports psychology, will lead a one-hour program focusing on the psychological needs of grade school, middle school, and high school student athletes. He will also discuss the athletic mind of children and how parents can be most effective to help their children maximize their athletic potential, significantly influencing their children’s overall athletic experience.
