Two systems. One vision.

Important announcement from Bellin Health

As our valued patients, we want to keep you informed of some significant news about the future of Bellin Health.

Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System are excited to share that we are discussing how we can come together to strengthen the personal, local medical care and experience for which we are known in our respective communities. Our health systems are deep into discussions of a planned merger, after which we would offer even more resources and a broader network of services that would improve care for the patients and families we serve. While nothing is final, we think now is a good time to inform our patients of what has been happening —  by explaining what it may mean for the future.

You should know that the same providers you know and trust will still be here, along with the high level of personalized care you expect. Over time, you will have access to more resources and a broader healthcare network, further improving the care you have come to know and trust from Bellin Health.

Our communities will benefit, too. Bellin and Gundersen are both not-for-profits, meaning we reinvest money made back into our communities — more than $210 million each year. We also will continue to lead advancements in Population Health, an approach that cares for all people’s physical health, mental and financial well-being, home life and more. We will continue our shared mission to bring health equity, access to preventive health services and mental health well-being support services to the communities we serve.
