Bellin to Hold Runner’s Assessment Demonstration

Free event to showcase technology, expertise to improve performance and avoid injury

OCONTO FALLS — Running experts from Bellin Health Sports Medicine’s Movement Performance Lab will demonstrate how technology and a team of experts can help runners of all abilities run faster, safer and smarter during a Monday, Feb. 29 event at Oconto Falls High School.

This no-cost runner’s assessment demonstration will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the school’s Community Fitness Center at 210 N. Farm Road, Oconto Falls (enter through the double glass doors by the field house). Bellin physical therapist Lisa Reinke, certified running coach Nate Vandervest and licensed athletic trainer Nick Winkler will demonstrate the technology and share their expertise.

Attendees will observe a complete running evaluation. During the session, Bellin’s running experts will explain how they:
• Conduct a full running assessment with multiple video views
• Break down the video with precise measurements and expert advice
• Provide education and build a plan for improvement
• Prescribe follow-up exercises to correct inefficiencies and address sources of potential injury

After the event, attendees will better understand how they can apply Movement Performance Lab principles and technology to improve their running and that of other athletes.
