Bellin Makes Forbes List of Best Employers
Bellin Health has been named one of America’s Best Mid-Size Employers by Forbes, ranking 56th on the list of the top 250 U.S. employers with 1,000 to 5,000 employees.
“Having passionate employees who enjoy coming to work directly contributes to the quality of the care and services we provide,” said Bellin Health President and CEO George Kerwin. “We’re honored to be acknowledged by Forbes and proud of the culture we’ve built for our employees at Bellin.”
The health system has more than 3,600 employees in Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
To compile the list, Forbes worked with online statistics provider Statista to survey more than 30,000 American employees working for large or midsize firms or institutions. Respondents were asked how likely they were to recommend their employer to someone else, how they felt about the other employers in their industry and 35 additional questions about work-related topics.
Bellin is one of six Wisconsin companies to make the annual list, released earlier this month, and the state’s only healthcare provider to do so. The entire list can be viewed at www.forbes.com/best-midsize-employers/list.
