Bellin Health Acquires Riverside Psychiatric Group

Providers, location to remain as new services become available to patients

Bellin Health has acquired Riverside Psychiatric Group, 1325 Angel’s Path, De Pere. As of today, the facility’s new name is Bellin Health Riverside Psychiatric Group.

Riverside patients are able to keep their current doctor or therapist at the Angel’s Path location. They will also have the option to select from a larger pool of Bellin providers with additional areas of expertise.

“Patients are our highest priority, and we understand the importance of maintaining the provider-patient relationship,” said Sharla Baenen, president of Bellin Psychiatric Center. “We are so pleased to join forces with Riverside’s talented team of experts, and we look forward to offering additional options that will enhance the level of care for our patients.”

Bellin Health Riverside Psychiatric Group will offer new services, including psychological testing and additional group therapy options. The new entity will be included in more healthcare plans as part of Bellin, and many of its services will now cost less.

“We are pleased to be able to continue the tradition of high-quality psychiatric care that Riverside Psychiatric has offered for the past 25 years as we combine with Bellin Health,” said Dr. Chris Larson, Vice President, Riverside Psychiatric Group.

Bellin and Riverside have worked together to inform patients of the change and address any concerns. The new facility’s hours and phone number (920-338-2855) will remain the same, and patients’ medical records are remaining on-site at the Angel’s Path location. Patients will have continued access to 24-hour emergency care.

Riverside Psychiatric Group’s current location opened in 2005. Initially, Bellin Health Riverside Psychiatric Group will offer services from eight providers, including two psychiatrists and six psychotherapists.
