Bellin Marinette to Host Oncology Grand Opening
Public can tour services wing, meet providers, learn about cancer screening
MARINETTE — Members of the public are invited to an Oct. 10 grand-opening event for the new Oncology Services wing at Bellin Health Marinette, 2820 Roosevelt Road.
The event runs from 4-6:30 p.m. and will include Oncology Services wing tours, provider team meet-and-greets, live radiation simulations and preventative cancer screening education. Attendees will enjoy light refreshments and have the opportunity to win an autographed Antonio Freeman jersey.
“We are so pleased to have the opportunity to bring our top-notch oncology services right to the people of Marinette,” said Jen Macdonald, Bellin Health Director of Hematology & Oncology. “A cancer diagnosis is life changing, so by offering treatment close to home we can begin to ease the burden for patients and their loved ones.”
Services that will be offered include Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology (infusion and chemotherapy), antibiotic infusions, injections, biologic and immunotherapy infusions, dressing changes and blood transfusions. The addition of these services represents another major milestone for the clinic, which opened in November 2016.
The clinic’s oncology providers include Dr. Charlie Pan, Dr. Edie Krueger and Dr. Adam Liss (Radiation Oncology); and Dr. Maria de Villa and Dr. Brandon Cutler (Medical Oncology). To schedule an appointment, call (920) 435-8326 or (866) 928-2126 or go to bellin.org.
