Online Registration Opens for 2018 Bellin Run
Holiday shoppers can gift registration for 42nd annual 10K run/walk
Stumped on what to get some of those on your holiday gift giving list? Why not give them the gift of wellness this season with a paid registration for the 2018 Bellin Run?
Online registration for Green Bay’s signature 10K run/walk is now open, and there’s no better way to prepare for an active 2018 than by committing early to this iconic community event. The 42nd annual Bellin Run will take place at 8 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018.
“The holidays can be very hectic and include too much food, but signing up for the Bellin Run is a great way to start the New Year off right,” said executive race director Randy Van Straten. “Whether you’re a veteran of the Bellin Run, or someone looking forward to first time participation, committing early will help you stay active throughout winter and into spring. While you’re at it, consider gifting a registration to a family member or friend as a way of supporting their health and wellbeing.”
Bellin Run organizers also unveiled the logo for the 42nd Bellin Run. All registrants will receive an official Bellin Run technical T-shirt featuring the logo. “The annual Bellin Run logo has become a tradition in itself,” said assistant race director Linda Maxwell. “People tell us they look forward to seeing the new design and the T-shirts serve as a very visible sign of our community’s commitment to fitness.”
The 6.2-mile course takes runners and walkers through Green Bay and Allouez on the second Saturday in June. It is one of the largest 10K events in the country.
Early registration is $25, and signing up is easy at www.bellinrun.com. The half-mile Children’s Run is $12. To gift a registration, go to www.bellinrun.com, click “Purchase Gift” and follow the instructions to purchase a registration for family and friends.
The 41st annual Bellin Run recorded 13,892 registrants. Additional information is available at www.bellinrun.com.
