Bellin for Women Kickoff Party is May 18
Free program helps women take ownership of their health in a fun, social environment
Women from across the community are invited to the Friday, May 18 Bellin for Women kickoff party at the Johnsonville Tailgate Village at Lambeau Field. This fun, free social event runs from 5-7 p.m.
Bellin for Women is an innovative new program that encourages Bellin Health patients and employees, as well as members of the broader community, to take ownership of their health and wellbeing while having fun and socializing in a comfortable, laid-back environment. Membership is free and includes benefits such as a welcome kit, monthly newsletters, free wellness screenings, discounts from local business partners, special events and much more.
The May 18 launch party will introduce the community to this great new resource. Attendees at this wine-and-cheese-themed event will have the opportunity to meet Bellin physicians, register to win two Green Bay Packers tickets, learn more about the program, engage with Bellin’s business rewards partners and enjoy free refreshments and desserts.
“We are thrilled to be launching this tremendous program, which will truly make a difference in the lives of women in our community,” said Megan Lehmann, Bellin Health Event and Community Outreach Specialist. “No matter what your age or background, you’ll connect with relevant content and relatable
peers — all while taking ownership of your health and wellbeing and having a great time.”
Dr. Rachael Vanden Langenberg, a family medicine physician at Bellin Health Bellevue, will address launch party attendees and help introduce the program.
“I am so excited about this initiative, and I can’t wait to introduce it to the women of our community,” Vanden Langenberg said. “Physical health is an important component of overall wellbeing, but it is far from the only factor. Bellin for Women recognizes this and encourages women to embrace a broader view of their health — including the all-important social dimension of wellbeing.”
Community members are encouraged to become members of Bellin for Women, like the program’s page on Facebook and attend the May 18 kick-off party. Registration is not required for the event. Women do not need to be Bellin patients to join Bellin for Women.
As an added incentive, the first 200 individuals to register for Bellin for Women membership will receive a free gift bag.
“Improving your health and wellbeing has never been this much fun,” Lehmann said. “We hope to see you May 18!”
