Bellin Donates FastCare Visit Dollars to Education Fund

Giveback program to continue through December

Bellin Health is giving back to the Marinette community by donating a portion of certain FastCare visits to the Marine Way Education Fund.

Ten dollars from every 2018 visit to FastCare by individuals covered under the Marinette School District’s health plan will be donated to the fund, which is managed by the M&M Area Community Foundation. On May 17, Bellin officials presented a $430 check covering visits from Jan. 1 through March 31. Bellin Health also made a $500 initial contribution to the fund.

“The Marine Way Education Fund will serve students by enhancing educational opportunities through business and community partnerships,” said Laura Cormier, Vice President Operations, Bellin Health Oconto Hospital. “This is such important work and we are so pleased to be able to give back in this way. Every FastCare visit helps!”

Bellin Health FastCare allows individuals ages 18 months or older to be seen for certain conditions without an appointment. The Marinette FastCare location, located at the Shopko Pharmacy at 2741 Roosevelt Road, is one of five FastCare locations in Northeast Wisconsin.
