Bellin Health Gears Up for Menominee Family Fun Night
Screenings, obstacle course, Packers player to be part of July 17 event
MENOMINEE, Mich. — Bellin Health will spread community wellness and family fun when it joins forces with the Menominee Recreation Department for Family Fun Night on Wednesday, July 17.
This free event for families kicks off at 6 p.m. at Great Lakes Memorial Marina Park. Superhero-themed activities for children ages 3-12 will run until 8:15 p.m., when the movie “The Incredibles 2” will be shown.
A proud sponsor of the event, Bellin Health will be offering free skin screenings, as well as a football-themed obstacle course and the opportunity to chat with Bellin providers. Attendees also will have the chance to meet Green Bay Packers back-up quarterback Tim Boyle and enter to win a four-pack of tickets to Packers Family Night on Friday, Aug. 2.
“This is a good opportunity to spread the message about potentially life-saving health screenings while also having a great time at a community event,” said Dr. Karen Eldevick, Family Medicine and Primary Care physician at Bellin Health Menominee. “I look forward to meeting more Menominee families and sharing the message that taking care of your health can be fun!”
Other Family Fun Night activities include superhero registration and a variety of games designed to test children’s superhero abilities. Crafts, face painting and a superhero photo booth will round out the fun.
