Lower-your-risk session is free to Bellin for Women members
A Bellin Health expert will delve into the relationship between genetics and cancer during an upcoming Bellin for Women event. “Cancer, Genetics and You” will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine & Orthopedics, 1970 S. Ridge Road.
Join Stephanie Hayes, Bellin Health Genetic Nurse Practitioner, to learn about how genes work, why certain diseases run in families and what you can do to help lower your risk of cancer and other ailments. Attendees will leave informed and empowered to take control of their healthcare and appropriately manage risk.
