Lambeau Field Vaccination Site to Close June 30

Bellin FastCares, other clinics to take over COVID-19 inoculations

Bellin Health’s Lambeau Field Community Vaccination Site will close at noon Wednesday, June 30, part of the health system’s strategy to integrate COVID-19 vaccination administration into its day-to-day clinical operations.

Beginning today (Tuesday, June 15), individuals in the Green Bay area will be able to receive first and second dose vaccinations at one of two local Bellin Health FastCare clinics:
• Bellin Health FastCare-Green Bay East, 1976 Lime Kiln Road
• Bellin Health FastCare-Green Bay West, 2015 Shawano Ave. (inside the Meijer store)

Vaccination hours for both FastCare locations will be:
• Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Saturday 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
• Sunday 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Walk-ins will be welcome at both sites and individuals do not need to be Bellin Health patients to be vaccinated. Both sites will have Pfizer vaccinations available, and therefore be able to accommodate individuals ages 12 and older. Ages 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; ages 16 and 17 must have parental consent if parent is not present.

Bellin also will begin offering COVID-19 vaccinations by appointment at additional primary care clinic sites, and those details will be available soon. The transition is reflective of current demand and the natural evolution of Bellin’s vaccination strategy, said Kathy Kerscher, Vice President of Primary Care.

“We knew from the beginning that eventually we would no longer need a mass vaccination site to meet our community’s needs,” Kerscher said. “That time has come and we have a great plan in place to continue to vaccinate everyone who wants it. I want to thank our incredible partners, Brown County Public Health and the Green Bay Packers, for helping to make this site a reality so we could serve our community in this way.”

The Lambeau Field Community Vaccination site opened in the Lambeau Field Atrium on March 17, administering more than 32,000 doses of vaccine before moving to its current location on the south side of the stadium on May 10. To date, Bellin has administered more than 45,000 doses of vaccine at its Lambeau sites.

Bellin has begun scheduling second doses at its FastCare locations for individuals receiving their first dose at Lambeau. Individuals who wish to schedule their first dose at a FastCare clinic may do so via mybellin.org or by calling (920) 445-7313.

“Vaccination remains incredibly important, and we encourage all who have not been vaccinated to get the shot as soon as you can,” Kerscher said. “We are here to serve our community and make vaccination as easy and convenient as possible.”
