Community Medication Take Back Events are Saturday, April 30

Saturday, April 30 at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center, Bellin Health

Area residents will have the opportunity to safely dispose of unneeded medications at two convenient Green Bay locations from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 30:

• HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center, 1726 Shawano Ave. (near Emergency Department Entrance)
• Bellin Health, 725 S. Webster Ave. (across Webster Avenue from hospital main entrance)

Medication Take-Back:
• Prescription and over-the-counter medications accepted
• Cross out identifying information on the containers

Those dropping off medications should remain in their vehicle and a volunteer will come to collect.

This community event is being held in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, which aims to rid homes of unused medications that create a public health and safety concern because they can be stolen, abused, accidentally ingested or improperly disposed of.
