Bellin Health to Host Boo the Flu, Trunk-or-Treat Events

Bellin Health is excited to announce its upcoming Boo the Flu and Trunk-or-Treat events set to take place on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Bellin Health Iron Mountain, located at 440 Woodward Ave., Iron Mountain, Mich. The events promise a spooktacular experience for children and adults alike, while also offering the community a convenient opportunity to receive a flu shot.

This convenient drive-thru clinic offers the community an easy and efficient way to receive their flu shots without stepping out of their cars. Costumed staff members add to the fun of this family-friendly offering. Bellin hopes to ensure families can enjoy all the Halloween festivities and stay prepared for the upcoming flu season.

Families can enjoy a safe and fun environment where kids can collect candy from the creatively decorated car trunks of Bellin Health team members. There will also be various community partners present, including the Iron Mountain Police Department, Norway Fire Department and Falcon the K9, who will be delighted to meet and greet the children.

Last year’s Trunk-or-Treat event was a resounding success, with over 500 children attending, making it an unforgettable experience for all.

“We are thrilled to offer both our Trunk-or-Treat event and the Boo the Flu clinic on the same day,” said Bellin Health Iron Mountain Team Facilitator Marie Johnson. “This allows us to provide a one-stop solution for families to enjoy Halloween festivities while protecting themselves against seasonal influenza.”
