Munson joins Bellin’s oncology center


GREEN BAY — Nathan Munson, M.D., a board certified radiation oncologist, recently joined The Cancer Team center at Bellin Health – a new 32,000-square-foot oncology center at 1580 Commanche Ave., Green Bay.

Munson is accomplished in utilizing state-of-the-art, cancer-fighting technologies. He strives to boost the confidence of his patients in their personal battles against cancer.

“Our patients quickly learn that they are not facing the challenge of fighting cancer alone,” he said. “As our name implies, we work as a team to provide the best possible care options for each of our patients.”

Munson received his medical degree from Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minn. He completed an internship in preliminary internal medicine at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas at the University Medical Center. Munson’s residency training in radiation oncology was completed through the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla.

He is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American Brachytherapy Society and the American Medical Association.

Munson is married and has three children. He enjoys exploring the outdoors, researching family history and learning from world cultures.
