GREEN BAY — The Bellin Health School of Radiologic Technology held its 48th annual graduation ceremony last month at Legend’s Supper Club in De Pere.
This year the school presented diplomas to five graduates, including: Andrea Brost, Manitowoc; Amanda Palmgren, Bark River, Mich.; Sara Stemper, Green Bay; Ashley Thornton, Houghton, Mich.; and Holly Yunk, Kaukauna.
Yunk graduated her class as the most decorated student, having earned the Mallinkrodt Award for Excellence for the highest academic and clinical achievement, as well as the Bracco Diagnostics Award for leadership and professionalism. She also earned the GE Healthcare Award for clinical excellence.
Brost, Stemper and Yunk will be employed in the Green Bay area as radiologic technologists. Thornton will work at Portage View Hospital in Hancock, Mich. Palmgren will attend the University of Colorado School of Ultrasonography.
The School of Radiologic Technology is fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology and boasts a 50-year history in the education of medical imaging professionals. Most recently, the school was incorporated into the new Bellin College on Green Bay’s east side and will offer a baccalaureate degree in radiologic sciences.
