Hunt leads Bellin Health’s IS department

GREEN BAY — Jacquelyn Hunt recently joined the team in Bellin Health’s information services department as vice president of Clinical Support & Information Services.

Dr. Hunt, a fellow with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, and former executive director of quality and care improvement at Providence Health & Services in Oregon, is charged with leading Bellin’s information technology activities in support of the health system’s strategy to improve the overall health of the Green Bay community.

“Jacquelyn is a fine addition to our team,” said George Kerwin, president and chief executive officer. “Her expertise will prove invaluable to Bellin Health and our efforts to streamline our use of electronic medical records and improve patient care.”

Hunt received her bachelor’s of science degree in Pharmacy from Oregon State University with a certificate in Gerontology. She received a doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Texas Health Science Center, where she also completed a two-year residency in Pharmacotherapy and Ambulatory Medicine.

Hunt earned her master’s degree in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis from the University of Michigan.

She has conducted significant research in fields improving care processes, patient engagement and health information technology. Hunt also serves on Certification Commission for Health Information Technology’s workgroup on Advanced Quality.
