SEYMOUR — Area children and their parents are encouraged to attend a free bike safety event from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 30.
The event – scheduled to take place on Depot Street – will offer tips on proper bike helmet use. Children can take a ride through the Bike Rodeo, visit Buckle Bear, the Crash Test Dummies and Click-it the Cricket. The rain site for the event is at the Seymour Fire Department.
Two participants will win a new bicycle, compliments of Diedrick’s Hardware, American Family Insurance and Edward Jones Investments. Bike checks will be performed by members of the Bayshore Bicycle Club.
