GREEN BAY — The Bellin Foundation’s annual Black Tie & Blue Jean Extravaganza is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11.
The one-of-a-kind fundraising event – in which participants mix and match formal and casual dress to create their attire for the evening – will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, 2420 Nicolet Drive, Green Bay.
Tickets to the public event are $80 per person.
The event will feature musical entertainment, complimentary wine tasting, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, cheese sampling, dessert and coffee, dancing demonstrations and performances, live and silent auctions, a raffle and event-themed photographs.
During the evening’s events, a Health Care in Action Community Service Award will be presented to the Friends of Haiti organization.
The Black Tie & Blue Jean Extravaganza raises funds through event sponsorships, ticket sales, donations and silent and oral auctions. This year’s event will benefit childhood obesity prevention and treatment initiatives at Bellin Health.
